Is there any such animal as a comparison chart for low decibal sounds, say 20 to 70 decibals that one can have a chance under standing?Exsample my cpu fan sounds like a hair dryer on low with the case closed and a hair dryer on steroids when the case is open. I have no way of knowing how many decibals it runs at?.......Would like to get a quieter fan but just haveing a decibal number to look at gives no way of telling if will be quieter or louder than what I'm running now?????Make since?

Because pretty much all explinations suck about db, just go to Radio Shack and get a db meter for 30 bucks and call it good. Then you'll know what is what.
