[SOLVED] Sound only coming through one ear

I have a pair of hyper x headphones and they have had no problems for about 2 years now and i turned on my pc this morning and they are only playing out of one ear, which i thought was weird as i kept them in good shape and look after them, i thought id try my air pods on my pc and the exact same with those, it only plays out of the left ear but they work fine on my phone? not sure if somehow ive changed a setting which only plays sound through the left ear,
