hello!
Im a streamer and i use 2 computers for my streaming setup to lessen the load on the main computer.
I been trying to find a good way to make it so both computers can send audio to each other in real time and the only thing i found so far is TeamViewer, problem is that it also sends video and this makes it take up way more resourses than i want it to.

Anyone know of any programs or ways to send all audio from 1 computer to another?
Im not talking about music or video sound etc, i really need ALL sound to be transfered.

Thanks in Advance!
Espen

Almost have to laugh if you used teamviewer to send something between computers in your house. All that traffic went all the way to some remote server on the internet and back.

It will likely not be all that simple because of how application interface with the sound card function in your machine. Many of these will only connect to what they think is a actual sound card.

It really depends on your data source, you can send just audio with programs like VLC even though they are video tools. Be very careful there is nothing that is fully real time there are always delays involved and it is very noticeable to people for example when video and audio is only a few milliseconds out of sync. You have to be very careful to account for any delays.

i use the LAN connection option in teamviewer so its pretty decent, but still not as good as i hoped.
tried virtual audio cable but didnt get it to work as i wanted, same with teamspeak and VLC.

not really sure how i can solve this without using a jack cable and output from one computer directly into the second one and listen to the sound that way, i was really hoping to use a software solution due to the fact that the computers are not close to each other.

they are both connected to a 1000/1000mbit Wired LAN if that helps 😛

i tried to find a way to turn off video, but havent found anything, maybe im just blind! but its rather annoying atm 😛 teamviewer does exacly what i want it to do exept that it adds video aswell.
Basicly what i need is teamviewer without the video or any program that can do the same

earlier i used 1 computer and 3 screens, but now i have 2 computers and i want the setup to work EXACLY as it did when i had 1 computer, with sound and everything and the only issue i have now is sound, the rest works exacly as if it was just 1 computer
