It's been like 2 months and my computer isn't identifies any sound peripherals
Like headsets or speakers
I took my pc to frind of mine who told me that the sound chip on the motherboard need to be replaced
I can't find someone who have the replacement for it
Any way .. I decided to give it up until I thought about installing an pci sound cardon my motherboard
Can anyone tell this us gonna work?
Because I don't want to buy one and it won't work
Thank you for your attention

what motherboard have you? For that matter, complete system specs might be useful...CPU, GPU, PSU, memory.

Have you checked the Sounds Settings applet to see which is your default device (in the Choose your output device box)? Is it the motherboard chip?
