I have the following problem:
There is a 'crack' in my sound, the sound in general is good but the crack occurs like a couple of times per minute. I don't know how to the describe it, but i think the best description for this 'crack' is pulling the 3.5mm jack out without turning off the speakers.
The problems occur on the onboard sound outputs on the mobo as well as the case audio ports. The speakers are fine, no problems when they are plugged into my laptop or phone. Also the 'crack' also occurs with other speakers and headphones.

The first months after assembly of the pc there were no problems, since then nothing has been changed on the build till the problem appeared. After some time i tried replugging basically all cables but this didn't work.

Build:
mobo: Gigabyte Aorus GA-Z270X-Gaming 5
cpu: i7-7700k
gpu: Gigabyte xtreme gaming gtx 1080
power supply: corsair rm750x
case: corsair carbide 400c
OS: Win 10

Anyone any idea what might cause this issue? Can it be a problem with the mobo?

Solution

1. Go to the support page for your motherboard and download the latest audio drivers. [Realtek HD Audio Driver and Creative SB X-Fi driver].
2. Go to "Control Panel > Sound" and look through the "Playback" and "Recording" tabs to see what devices are listed. See which are "Enabled" and which are "Disabled", then try disabling any devices you don't need that may be causing a conflict. Next right click each device listed and look through the "Levels", "Enhancements" and "Advanced" tabs and shut...
