Hello. I hope someone here can help me.
I'm having a problem getting user account sound event settings to work
correctly. If a change is made for one user, it seems to change for the
other user accounts. However, there is a twist ....... for instance, User 1
has a sound selected for windows logon and User 2 has a different sound
selected for that same event. When using fast user switching, User 2 logs
off/switches to User 1, User 1 hears the sound he has selected for logon, as
well as User 2's selected sound for that event. In other words, when User 1
logs on, he hears 2 sounds. This problem only effects Limited User
accounts and has no effect on the Administrator account.
We are running WinXP Home w/ SP2. Any light you can shed on this problem
would be greatly appreciated.
