Sound stopped working, windows 7, not a small problem

I will start off by saying, Im not a noob, my computer all of a sudden cant detect my audio device.. I lightweight know what Im doing, yes he speakers are plugged in, no the system isnt on mute, yes I uninstalled, reinstalled (even have the disc for my MOBO and used the audio drivers from it) I dont have headphones plugged in just the speakers.. Everytime I try to install the drivers it says failed contact manufacturer.. I did automatic install, and manual. I went to my BIOS's I didnt see any Realtek option to disable or enable but I seen something about audio and it was ENABLED...... this problem happened while I was recording music and switched from WAVE playback to WaveRT ... Ive taken all the steps I can possibly do to reinstall everything.... SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!

plz help.. stilllll no luck....... :/ all i got now is in my Device Manager I got it to go from Audio Device on High Definition Audio bus to Realtek High Definition... it tells me there is no drivers installed for it.. I try to install the drivers.. and it says windows found the drivers for this device are up to date!!!!!! but before I tried to install them it said there's none installed.... about 4 hours into this problem now.. Im desperate! HELP PLEASE!

I FOUND A SOLUTION! BUT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR BIOS DISC WITH AUDIO DRIVERS! OR A .EXE FILE WHICH CAN BE OBTAINED BY DOWNLOADING A INSTALLER FROM YOUR MANUFACTURER BEFORE YOU COMPLETE MY STEP 2.. People if you are reading this because you expierenced the same problem and you stumbled on this post like many have in google to tomshardware here is what I did after 4 hours of headaches... Believe me.. I know YOU tried everything too before you stumbled here! This SHOULD work if not your problem is SCREWED lol. But ok here we go

1-Uninstall you audio driver
2-Disconnect from internet (THIS WAS THE BIG PART THE WHOLE TIME I CUDNT FIGURE OUT AND FINALLY DID)
3-Re-install your drivers
4-Restart computer
5-windows should go through a couple update steps once on desktop
6-DONE!

it took me 4 hours to only find out that by unplugging the internet, my problem would be solved! anyways.. hopes this works for you!
