Sound stops, pc freezes sometimes as a result, may corrupt the playback of a video.

So since i changed to Win 10 I've had this on & off bug where the sound cuts and usually freezes the pc for 1-2 s. When this starts happening it usually happens every 10s for about a couple of mins. Then stops for a while longer. As you can guess this is incredibly frustrating to play any game or watch any video. Even listening to music on spotify becomes completely impossible.

Hardware:

AMD Fx-8350
Asrock 970 Extreme4
HyperX Fury 2x4gb
MSI r9 380 4gb
Bronze 700W 80+ PSU

if you need any more details feel free to ask. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out!

Edit: It only freezes if i'm in-game.
Edit2: I've reinstalled windows and the problem persists maybe a problem with mobo?

This generally happens due to incompatible graphics and/or audio drivers. Either the most updated driver(s) are not compatible with the latest Windows update or they are not updated at all.

You can try the following to start with:

> Check and confirm if Windows has all the latest updates installed.

> Check and confirm if the graphics driver is updated.

> If the graphics driver is updated, roll it back to its previous built.

> Do the same for the audio driver.

If the issue persists, you can try Increasing the Pagefile Size.
