So i just got a gtx 1060 and quickly relized i need a conveter because i only have a vga moniter. Im going to get a new moniter in about a month but until then i still wanna game. So can anyone point me in the direction of a good converter or adapter. HDMI or Displayport, i think there is a DVI-D on the 1060 too though so any will work. Also, i heard these dont come with sound, if i used these usb headphones that plug in the front of the computer do i have to worry about that??? Thanks everyone..

You are currently using VGA which already has no sound. This means you must be using your motherboard's integrated audio. Upgrading to a new GPU will make no difference to your current sound setup.

The need to use HDMI or DP for audio only applies if you want to connect your GPU to a TV or monitor which has built-in speakers or audio output and have the ability to tell Windows to send sound over HDMI/DP. Even with a HDMI/DP TV/monitor connected, you still have the option to use your PC's built-in audio as well.
