Sound won't play through most outputs?

I recently had to move my computer into storage for a few days. After plugging back in I experienced a few issues. The sound was not working. The display worked but on restart it stopped recognizing the DVI cable. I switched to HDMI directly from the graphics card. That fixed the display issue. However, the sound is still not working correctly.

Sound will not play through the monitor or headphones when I use the headphone jack on the front of my computer. The only way I can get sound is to plug headphone into the sound jack from the back of the computer. Any idea what could be causing this or how to fix?

Has the headphone-header from the case to the motherboard come loose?
