My Samsung's LCD speakers are creating a lot of vibration even when the volume is moderate.
So instead of repairing these inbuilt speakers, I'm thinking of buying a soundbar which will act as replacement.
So my question is :
  1. If I connect a soundbar will it disable the inbuilt faulty speakers. I only want the soundbar to be active.
  2. Which port should I use to connect it with TV. I don't think I have Bluetooth in TV.
  3. Also I'll prefer to use TV's remote to control the volume of soundbar. Will it be possible?
Please suggest.

Solution
Does your tv have these same sockets on the back?

In particular the audio out below hdmi 3 and ir out?

If so the answer is yes, you could buy virtually any soundbar and connect with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.
This would

1.Disable onboard speakers automatically
2.Allow you to control volume with your tv remote

Thanks a lot for helping. It's exactly like this, but without IR out.
Which port should I use for 3.5mm cable. The "Audio Out" one?
