No, I'm not giving up my Vortex 2 but I was thinking in line with notebook computers. This is probably Creative's work around for the VIA chipsets. :smile: Say good-bye to any USB bandwidth that you had. :frown: Any thoughts?

Probably a good read. <A HREF="http://www.tbreak.com/hard/othr/extigy/page1.html" target="_new">tbreak review</A> And I was right about the USB bandwidth problems. :frown: <i>"One thing worth pointing out is that although Extigy supports EAX 2.0, it doesn't support some of the new effects found on Audigy like Environment Morphing and Multi Environment. Creative blames the lack of these effects on the limit of the USB."</i>
