soundblaster-live not compatible?

does anybody know anything about Win2K and soundblaster-live platinum compatibility?
I cannot install any driver for the hardware, and as a consequence none of the Creative softwaree can be used.

Is your card recognized by windows when you install it? If not, the card may be defective.

Also, make sure you are downloading the correct drivers/software for it. Creative drivers are very picky about the hardware setup. Look on your card for a number CT???? and do a search on the Creative Labs website for software for your specific card.

Actually I do not know what is the right procedure for uninstalling and reinstalling the card.
I certainly reinstalled the drivers but that did not work.

What, exactly, are your symptoms? It might not be windows at all, rather a hardware compatability issue.
