Soundcard compatability, sennheiser G4me Zero

So i just bought the sennheiser G4me zero headset which I am more then pleased with. The sound is great but it felt like a waste to use these on an built in motherboard sound card.

Because of this I ordered the ASUS Xonar Phoebus sound card to experience everything the G4me Zeros is able to perform.

The question is if the soundcard I just ordered is any good for these 2.0 headphones and if the sound card have any good virtual surround sound feature that will fit them?
