Soundcard Dissapeared?

Hello,
my laptop is an hp pavillion dv6000. and the sound just stopped working yesterday night its still not working and it says "no audio output device is installed" what do i do?

Go to HP's support site, locate your model and then re-install the sound card driver and see if that helps.
