[SOLVED] Soundcard for my headset?

(I just made my account so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum)

Ok so, I just bought a Sennheiser Game one, unlike my other headsets this one is analog but my old ones were all USB. I was wondering would I need a soundcard/amp for it to sound good or will my onboard amp and dac do just fine? (Asus ROG Maximus IX Code motherboard)

Alright because I just tested my sister's Razer Kraken Pros which are analog and it didn't sound very good and it just sounded different and on discord it was echoey in a call. I'd it just the headset and would the Game Ones sound better than Kraken Pros?

Well it arrives tomorrow, I'll test it out and if I have any problems where do you recommend I try to find a solution or can I message you?

If i recall correctly, the Game one is a HD559 with modified drivers and a mic attached.

I just got them yesterday and love them! I had to do some adjusting in Sonic Studio 3 which controls the audio since my stuff is onboard and it sounds very natural and detailed. It isn't as bass heavy but it is definitely noticeable. I'm sure it would be better with a sound card, but for now it is just fine.
