Soundcard needed for Youtube creators?

Hello everyone! I have a fairly popular youtube channel and have been doing it for quite a while using the devices I already had. Now that I have extra cash I want to upgrade my equipment and I have a question. I was using a pair of Turtle Beach X12 to record audio but plan on buying a Blue Snowball USB microphone. I am curious if I need to purchase a sound card rather than using the one on my mobo? My audio has normally been ok but I can hear a bit of interference at times. On a side note my channel isn't a gaming channel it's just on paranormal stuff so I am not concerned about game audio.

no you don't need a sound card.
the onboard sound on motherboards is good enough.
the only time you might need a sound card is if you do something to do with music/sound production.
