So I have this motherboard,Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 with a case Zalman Z11 Plus and I recently bought Razer Kraken Pro.

Since Krakens have two 3.5mm jacks (sound/mic) I plugged both of them in the front panel on my case and I tried some nice bass music and I got real high with the volume and the bass was clear with no humming or noise or whatever you call it BUT the mic didn't worked.

So I plugged both jacks on the motherboard/rear panel and did the same but this time mic worked perfectly although I heard noise when the bass kicked

Note that I have Razer Synapse ON but I did tried this test 4 times with Razer Synapse:

Front Panel ON/OFF
Rear Panel ON/OFF

The outcome was the so from this we can exclude Razer Synapse as a problem

Now if you could advise me on how to fix this problem I would be most grateful

I am not sure if another(not integrated) sound card would help whether PCI,PCI-E or just USB and if it would, which one?

Thanks for reading

Solution
Try reconnecting the audio front panel cable to the motherboard. If still the same, it might be an issue with the front mic port.
An audio card should solve the issue, since the headset mic does work.
I'd go with a PCIe one.

I tried reconnecting it but problem persists

Okay, can you say which one to buy?
