My audio drivers were 100% compatible and newer at Realtek for my Realtek HD chip.

Latest are 2.56, mine were 2.53 at motherboard site.

In general, get the other motherboard drivers (main chipset driver, ethernet etc) from motherboard manufacturer for your EXACT version of Windows for your motherboard.

ASUS P5PE-VM - Realtek AC97 - get them from www.realtek.com.tw - vista drivers will also work (since both are the same NT6.x OS)

perhaps use a great tool called GOOGLE next time?
