Soyo P4S overclocking

Hi, does anyone have experience with this board that can give me any settings advice? Really stable running on default but not once I change settings. I haven't been able to find a good guide on overclocking. Not enough info for complementary settings of cpu, ram, zclk, voltages, & cas. I have a 1.9cpu & 2 mem modules (256 crucial pc-2100 & 512Nanya pc-2700 (they supply Kingston). I can still return the Nanya. I got it for $120. With only the 2700 module in default I get 703mbs with memtest & 1394/1396 with default/turbo in Sandra. The 2100 gets746mbs memtest & 1413/1415Sandra with the same setting! I tried to adjust the clock to the 333 setting & I got a status code 128 message? Well, any suggestions on this board would be great. I am new to all this. Thanks

you need to set the divider to 3:5 to run the cpu @ 100x4 and the ram at 166 x 2.. set the board for normal or fast when doing this .. I have this board and it is not a good o\c'r at this time most likely due to the limitations of the ram ..I have seen better than 2100 in sandra with these settings and 2 sticks of kingmax pc2700 on mine

I have been trying to figure out about is meant by divider 3:5 cpuX4 and ram 166x2. I have scoured the web looking for good tutorials on overclocking and can't find any. They never go into the steps and what to do to effect what. Like, if not stable increase ____. This p4s has the cpuhost(I understand is fsb & determines the speed of the cpu)/Ram/Zclk then it has vcore voltage, ddrvoltage and agp votage. I have a handpicked malaysian made 1.9ghz p4. I have set it to 108/144/72 with default voltages and it is stable. But I should be able to overclock beyond 2055hz,right?
Thanks,
Robert

these settings are in the first option in the bios and relate to the fsb ratio for the cpu and the ram 166x2 for eg gives you an effective rm speed of 333Mhz. you will see that by adjusting the ratios the ram and fsb for the cpu are at different numbers depending on the fsb setting
