SP2 Hangs when Changing to AC power

I've been having an intermittent problem since I installed SP2 with my
laptop hanging when I change from battery power to mains power.

Can anyone suggest a remedy, it is starting to become very frustrating.

Is this easy to reproduce?
Does this happen if you boot in safe mode?
