Space Empires IV is one of those games which survives for years on someones
computer because of extensive replay value.

Shrapnel just announced that SEIV is again available for shipment!
Just in time for some majorly sweet MOD releases by some of its fans too.

The Forums at ShrapnelGames.com is a good place to start. I was amazed.
They seem to have EVERY version of StarTrek, Babylon5, Battlestar
Galactica, and many others. Something like 300 races you can add. Plus
advanced AIs, new technologies, larger maps, and some GREAT added graphics.
Its one of the most added-to games Ive ever seen.

Actually they are one of the companies I get a check from for part time
work. I have often acknowledged that. But I found them by loving their
games, following it to their forums, and then getting offered a consultant
contract. I dont pass on all of their blurbs but I know that many people
have been waiting for this new pressing of SEIV

Why? It's still a great (and customizable) game.

I don't measure a man's success by how high he climbs but how high he
bounces when he hits bottom.
