Hi,

I am running Win2k server, but only got 5GB space on my System partition,
the WINNT directory already take up 2GB of data, what can i get rid of wihout
affecting windows? I have got rid of all the Service Pack restore things in
WINNT. Is there anything else? the partition is running out of space soon.

Thanks

Hi Roy,

Just wondering..... But have you tried using the Disk Cleanup Tool for starters?

You did not mention if you have another partition? If you do you could also
move the pagefile.

Aboslutely correct Scott, you can move you pagefile to another partition as long as you're not worried about getting memory dumps whenever the server
bugchecks with a blue screen.

HI,

Thank you very much for the replies. The page file is already on another
partition and i have done a disk clean up, since i only got 4.87GB on system
partition, and it is not helping much. It is an old server.

Any other ideas?

THanks
