I was here . As i continued to troubleshoot, on boot, the status light flickered a few times, then i smelled smoke. It was a little hot to the touch but i hoped short protection was in place because the pc did not boot. I reseated everthing and then there was a spark. i quickly undid everything. I setup back in my old confirmed working mobo and all clear, no overheating, no sparks and the status light is white and drivers installed and when i went to test, i now get code 43 in win device manager.

Is it really dead? Ive read post that say if it were the fans would spin 100%.

You didn't mention what the age of the PSU is. You might also want to stock cramming the wrong things in the right case, prebuilts since this will equate a bad reputation for you on the long run if you think this will be a business path.

Sparks can lead to a lot of things, fireworks and even dead computers to even a burnt house.

Oh that was just a bad joke....I haven't made a business out of this.

But it's a Supermicro 560/600 watt 80 gold hotswappable PSU... Model
