SPDIF on GTX 460

Hello.

Dumb question time but I can't for the life of me find the SPDIF socket on my Gainward GTX 460 card. Can someone put me out of my misery? :lol:

Odds are that you do not have one, my EVGA 460 does not. I believe the 200 series was the last run where SPDIF was standard, after that everything had an onboard audio chipset for HDMI audio.

How do I get audio out through the HDMI then?

Scratch that, all through the software. Thanks for your hep though, would of spent hours looking otherwise.

Ps I wish manuals were better written!!
