SPDIF to PC not working.

I had SPDIF working last night on my Yamaha receiver. I had Realtek Digital Output(Optical) and DTS 5.1. It all worked really well. I woke up this morning, nothing works. I went through settings and everything. Not sure what happened. It'd be nice if someone would help me! Thanks a lot. -Jake

Can you please pass on your full systems specs(inclusive of your audio equipment and OS)? I'm assuming that this platform is built upon Microsoft's new OS thus I'd suggest you perform a system restore prior to when this issue began or a repair install and see if your audio is back to where it was before. You can likewise try uninstalling and reinstalling your Realtek drivers and see if the issue is averted. Are you also sure your BIOS and device drivers(namely chipset) are up to date?
