Speaker Icon Issues

I have no sound. In the control panel, in the sound manager, under the playback tab, I am not showing the speakers icon. I have right clicked on the empty space and it is not showing the speakers as disabled. I would like to reinstall the speakers part back into my sound manager. How do I do this. I have tried reinstall of the real tek audio driver but that doesn't work. I need the speakers reinstalled. Help me please, thankyou.
