Speaker noise after Exiting Vlc media player

Noise Carries on After Exiting VLC. Whenever it exit vlc when a video is running a hum or sometimes a noise is carried over.

This is not happening when I play games or exit using windows media player.
Have updated my motherboard drivers but to no avail. plz help.

Note: This is also happening when I do a sound check with the Realtek software

First, K-Lite Standard (which uses the player WMPC-HC) is a great alternative to VLC. I prefer it.

Did you try removing then reinstalling both VLC and the Realtek software?

(follow "HD audio codec" ... the latest 64-bit version is v2.82 and is this big "264424k")

I'll think on it, but I can only assume it's a software glitch.

Yes, removed and then reinstalled vlc media player and realtek software but the issue still persists. I will try to use the one you suggested as of now.
Please let me know if you find anything.
