Speaker Setup Unknown

When I turned on my Dell Inspiron 7000 It wouldn't play any sound. So, I attempted to troubleshoot and restarted my laptop to have the same problem occur. When I plug in headphones it still doesn't play any sound. It's the built speakers.

do you have the latest drivers.
Can you see your sound card in device manager?

Have you set your sound to be volume to be silent?

So click on the speaker icon and see what volume you have set.

What is your default output sound device
