I bought a cheap pair logitech's entry level 5.1 speakers... X-640's ( I
think they are discontinued now ).. sounds great for games. I was really
impressed with the quality once I got the front / rear balance right. For
music they are OK unless you wana really turn it up, but I route the sound
through a Hi Fi for that.
If you wana test the quality of speakers get a clean sounding, and well
recoreded cd and play if loud.. you'll hear where the speakers miss tones
and where the volume is that they start to breakup at.
I just noticed you email addy is .au ... my speakers retailed for about $150
