I've had to replace a dead motherboard recently, grabbed a Asus PRIME A320M-K followed by a fresh Windows 11 installation.
Following the Windows and GPU updates I plugged in my speakers into green 'line out' audio jack. The speakers got detected but when playing a video the volume bar moves but no sound comes out.
The inbuilt monitor speaker works. If I connect my Speakers through USB they work but the sound seems muffled, immediately noticed lower quality.
I checked the drivers but the Windows ones are newer than the motherboard sound drivers, so I'm reluctant to mess about with that yet.

Not quite sure where to go from here. Even thought about grabbing a Creative SoundBlaster if that would bypass the issue.
