Hello!

So I have a MSI G41M-SP20 with realtek onboard audio, I had it in a old case which did not have a front panel audio jack but after I upgraded my case the new one had HD audio cable so I thought why not plug it in. Speakers DO work because I tried it on my phone

That's when my misery started...

After I build the pc and connected the wirings speakers would not make any sound when I booted it. first I thought it was a driver issue, apparently it was not because I uninstalled it and installed it a dozen times, but still no sound.

after that I decided to unplug the HD audio cable from the motherboard jumper but still I had the same issue. realtek audio manager was and is showing that front panel connectors are both in (even know there is nothing plugged in) but it says that nothing is in the rear panel one(there is a single speaker jack in)

Please end my misery and help me try to fix this

Sorry if my English grammar is not that straight

Waiting for your response <3

1| Judging from your screenshot, GUI and window, it looks like you're running Windows 10 on your system. If so then you'll be hard pressed to find out that users on platforms with the onboard Realtek audio chip are experiencing issues with the device, drivers and the OS as a whole.
2| You're system isn't meant to run on anything higher than Windows 7 mainly due to drivers and stability issues. Those very drivers are what's causing the issue on your sound card. Info were based off your manual.

You might want to down grade your OS if you're on Windows 10 or go for a dedicated sound card purchase which is not a worthwhile advice for a system that is at least 4 years old. If the speakers were working prior to you swapping components into new chassis then you may want to reinstall your OS and see if that alleviates your issue.

Im back on tom's hardware ! 😀 So after all this time the problem was the pins on the motherboard!!!!! Near the onboard sound chip there were 4pins , 2 of which had to be in a circuit... So I fixed it after like 3days of posting this question. Thanks for your help anyway!
