Speakers not working

Yesterday i moved my computer from the livingroom after playing Call of duty on LAN with my friend back to my room. Today, few moment ago at the time of me writing, i pluged every thing back to the pc. I'm 100% sure i plugged everything correctly because i have done it multiple times. Then i start my pc and notice that the speakers are making no sound. After noticing i checked if i plugged the speakers in the correct port and that they are plugged in the power, witch they were. Then i have decided to take a small speaker ,that I usually plug into my smartphone, and plugged it into the back of the PC and i't didn't work. How do i fix this? Is it the Motherboard?

I had this symptom once, and I fixed it by reinstalling the motherboard audio drivers.

Alright, how do i do that? Do i look up my motherboard?

Your motherboard should have included a cd with drivers on it.
Failing that, use cpu-Z to identify your motherboard and go to the web site for that motherboard. There should be a download list for drivers.
