Speakers "sensitivity" problems

It's hard to explain, but if the chords are just even a bit off then the sound doesn't come out. The other speaker works a bit more consistently, but the other one is much more inconsistent. The problem isn't with my computer ports, i checked that already.

Sounds like bad "chords". Pretty common for the wire in the cable to break at the point it enters the connector. Soldering new connectors would help but new more robustly made cables would be better in the long run.
