Speakers turning off and on again

Hi. I have a recently built Windows 10 machine with the following specs:

-AMD FX-6300
-16.00 Gv DDR3 RAM
-Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
-Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti
-Samsung SSD 250Gb
-Western Digital 1Tb

My speakers, which are standard headphone jack speakers, seem to "unplug and plug back in" every 2 seconds or so. Is there any easy solution to this I'm overseeing?

Have you tried multiple ports? Plug them into your phone, and into other 3.5MM jacks, maybe they aren't plugged in all the way, or it is a faulty jack, or a bad cable, or one of the amazing number of issues with windows 10.
