Hi folks,

So I have some new speakers (Logitech Z333) and they don't fix on my desk next to (either side) of my monitor... what options do I have?

I have a kind of 'cabinet desk' so it would be great if I could somehow have stands that stick onto the side of the cabinet... has anyone ever seen these? Just an idea, not sure what else to do. I don't want to spend much on stands otherwise they will cost more than the speakers themselves!

Thanks! D

Solution
you could put the 2 sattellitte on top of the shelf over the screen and driil small holes in the back to feed the bass in the lower shelf under this desk .

Here's a pic of my desk:

As you can see, I have a kind of fold-out/open desk cabinet, and there's not much space on each side of my monitor (the Logitech Z333 speakers don't fit within that width standing upright, nor directly underneath laying on their side).

Any speaker arrangement options would be much appreciated! Thanks

Looks like there is room behind the monitor for them without blocking much. Sub should just sit on the floor.

Or... you could buy cheap "L" brackets at a hardware store and screw them into the cabinet and the bottom of speakers. Short screws so you don't puncture something inside.

That looks like military dorm from the 90's furniture...

Sounds like a good and easy option. My only concern is that folks say you should have the (satellite) speakers as close to head/ear height as possible for the best sound - any thoughts on this?

Yea it's old-school Ikea furniture! 😀

Is it good for sound quality to have the satellite speakers behind the monitor? Some folks say this blocks some of the sound - what do you think? Also, what about the vibrations/energy from the speakers going into the monitor - couldn't this possibly damage it?

Thanks :)

I have two smaller satellites sitting right up against my LED screen on one computer, and much larger ones on another, and don't see any effects. Speakers are easy to move so I would put them right behind the screen for starters and see how the sound is. If you get a lot of echo, or they're muffled, then have to try something else.

Can get something insanely cheap like these, one for each side, to put the speakers on. Nice thing as you can put them at any height you like. I think I might stick the speakers to them with double-adhesive tape to make them more secure.

Or... more expensive but less cheap looking:

Those are some good options :) I will have a play around and see how it goes
