Hi,
I like Speccy its great to run from a USB stick to determine a PCs mobo code for instance or just to know whats in a machine your fixing or have bought without having to take the side off.
Speccy started crashing Windows 10 to BSOD and now its auto removed by the latest 10 update.
This is the workaround I borrowed off the Piriform Forum, sorry if I do not credit the originater.
DL again if removed but DONT run it
Quickest fix (mine) right click on desktop icon, look for target. Where it says Speccy64.exe simply remove the 64 and the icon will then open the 32bit version which is stable in windows 10.
Long Fix. As above but also navigate to speccy installation folder (c: program files speccy) and delete Speccy64.exe and leave Speccy.exe in place, remember to tell the shortcut icon to open that though as above.
Thats fixed it until Piriform come up with a better answer
