Hey.
I bought a Thermaltake Luna 12 Blue LED Fan. I put it in my machine, plugged in the power connector, and turned it on. However, it is always running at full speed. I thought it might've been myMotherboard, the Asrock H81M, but I tried to slow down the other fan in my case and it worked perfectly. When I try to set the speed to 'silent', it doesn't do anything. Please help, it is obnoxiously loud.

Solution
The ASrock H81M has 4 fan headers;

and I'd primarily suggest hooking the Luna's connector to the second CPU fan header as that would most probably be controlled by the same regulator for the main CPU fan header. I own an Asrock Mobo as well and the A-tuning utility can be used in tandem with BIOS to monitor and control the fans via RPM or temps.

I would however suggest going through a trial and error basis of seeing which fan headers are voltage regulated and which ones are on full time.

If all else fails, you can by a $10 pwm splitter by Swiftech to manage all the fans in your build to run via the PWM signal on the main CPU header.
