Hi everyone. I had to redo my plans for the new build.

Here is what I plan so far. The case cannot be changed unless you can suggest an ATX case with (4) 5.25 bays and a USB C connector on the front for less than 100.00 bucks.

XFX SPEEDSTER SWFT210 RADEON RX 7600XT CORE Gaming Graphics Card with 16GB GDDR6 HDMI 3xDP, AM

Phanteks Enthoo Pro series PH-ES614PC_BK Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer

Be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 | TDP 270W CPU Cooler | Air Cooler

Seasonic FOCUS GX-1000, 1000W 80+ Gold, Full-Modular, ATX Form Factor, Low Noise

Seagate FireCuda ST4000DX005 4TB 7200 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal HDD

Seagate FireCuda 530 NVMe 1TB M.2 Internal PCIe Gen 4 x4 Gaming Solid State Drive

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X Vermeer 3.4GHz 16-Core AM4 Desktop Processor

Crucial Pro 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory

MSI MEG X570 UNIFY Desktop Motherboard - AMD Chipset - Socket AM4 - 128 GB DDR4

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme Bundle Thermal Paste

Suggestions to legit US sites are welcome.

Is this for a gaming build? The 5950x is expensive and runs warm and overkill for the 7600xt.

At this price point maybe get a 5700x and a 7800xt instead. Or maybe look at an i5 12600k for example. Just saw an i5 12600kf on Amazon earlier for 159 today. That and a decent z690 or z790 board would be great with a 7800xt or better I think.

I’ve got a 12600kf paired with a 6800xt and it’s a great pairing.

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme Bundle Thermal Paste = wasted money no need to buy that.

Less expensive cooler.

No way you need anything near 1000 watt PSU for that build.
What would you recommend for a thermal paste? By all reports this chip runs hot. The cooler I choose has 270W TDP.

I will also be adding 2 Optical burners.

I'm definitely going with Seasonic, never had a problem with them. Alternative to 1000W?

Yes I used Parts Picker. Newegg often is out of stock. Amazon often jacks up the price.

Since the AM5 is still fairly new everything is expensive. Went one gen back but with a strong CPU that can handle pretty much anything I can throw at it

The member stated above (#8) that an AMD based system was preferred.

I just want to issue a heads up warning to folks here.
I ordered parts through Amazon.
Even though you specify NEW and Prime overnight, Amazon's system will try and pull a fast one one you. Cancelling components orders without a legitimate reason, giving vague maybe or possibly BS excuses.
Substituting inferior components even though you hit the order again button.
Substituting a part that has to travel across the country, when the same part is available locally.
This last one though takes the FORNICATING cake!
You catch their system in an obvious scam and there is no way to reach the reseller.
Their system tried to substitute a 1,000 dollar case for a 100 dollar case!!!!!
UltraParts Renewed is sketchy as all hell!!!!!!!
I tried to cancel this order for 3 days and was lied to by Amazons employees every single time.
They stated it had been shipped when it had not been.
It's not registered with the State of California as a business.
The website is a place holder.
UltraPartsRenewed.com whois search is a dead end. It leads you to Tucows.
Good luck finding a phone number.
If I had to take a guess I'd say it's a front setup by Amazon to unload used and probably defective parts.
But why you ask?
The longer they delay paying you your refund, the more they can make in interest.
Hey Bezos, Nice racket you've got going on!
