Question Specs for Thermal Pads for GPU VRMs

Hi Guys,

I am looking for suggestions on good thermal pads to use on my GPU VRMs. I have an old R9 270 and just wanted to do some maintenance. Will be using NT-H1 for the GPU. I am not sure what is the standard Thermal Pad spec used? I am getting options for both 6 W/mk and 12.8 W/mk.

I think you are going to be hard pressed to find this answer most of the time people just match the thickness and call it a big deal.

Once you've matched the depth of the original pads, they still need to have a certain amount of give to them, and that also varies among pads.
-not enough give, and the pads will cause the PCB to flex, and create uneven mounting pressure elsewhere - around the gpu core, for example.
-too much give, and the pads don't firmly contact with the heatsink.
