So I bought the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) and while many reveiws said it comes with NFC and official specifications said so aswell, but my phone doesn't show any kind of NFC.

I don't think they removed the NFC deature of the device because it was sealed. But why don't I find any signs of NFC? I tried NFC testing apps and they showed that I don't have NFC on this device. No signs of NFC in the settings either.]

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Just checked the battery and it doesn't write "Near Field Communication" as it is supposed to. Does that mean someone changed it, even though it was sealed?

Depends on your model, it may not have it implemented. Looks like the India area model has it, with S Bike Mode. Some details on how...
considering the tag it has in box, it should have it

How to activate S-Bike Mode in Galaxy J3?
The Galaxy J3 has NFC. Also there is a bundled pre programmed NFC tag. You need to stick that NFC tag sticker to dashboard or helmet. Then whenever you are riding the bike, you need to just tap on the phone to enable S-Bike feature. You have option to enable this from quick toggle menu as well.

Perhaps NFC is hiding in S bike mode settings

looking at battery here, seems you got a cheap battery. http://www.fonearena.com/blog/181741/samsung-galaxy-j3-2016-review.html but then comparing it to the battery in this video, it might be fine:

I can't see anything in your user manual: http://eguides.sprint.com/support/eguides/samsunggalaxyj32016/content/getting_started.html.

NFC may be limited to just working with the tag. Swipe down from top of screen and then click the little arrow button, it should show all the buttons that can be options for the top row, is NFC one of them? I have an S7 so the version of android isn't the same,

I don't think that is the problem here. I investigated the case a bit and I came to a conclusion that they might have replaced the battery with a cheap one so it would be lower price. I will contact the store ASAP and see what kind of excuse they'll give to me.

Yes I tried pressing that button to see all features but NFC isn't there. I also did a Google search but could not locate the sweet spot to NFC so I suspect it's on the battery.

You may want to contact Samsung support also to ask about this.
