Speed Fan question:

After disabling Q-control in Asus Bios and carefully setting up Speed Fan to fit my needs, i can manually control my fans but it does not control them - even if i reach my warning temperatures...

Eg: CPU fan set to start at 40C and warning at 65C - during GTA V Ultra stress the CPU reach the 60s but the fan does not spin.

The same happens with my chassis fan which is set to react to my GPU at 50C.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Doesn't your MoBo CD contain AI Suite ? Installing it and using FanXpert to control fans works far superior to Q-Control or Speedfan.... I have tried for "Sheetz and gigles" but have not been able to get speedfan working on any recent Asus board I have had.

One the fans are set up you can disable and even uninstall AiSuite...instructions on Asus RoG Forums

I looked into FanXpert and tried installing it from Asus website and from the install disc that came with my mobo, but the program does not get installed?

Its part of AISuite ... you need to load AiSuite to get at it.

I figured as much - the problem is that AI Suite does not get installed either... And yes, i have it checked in the install window......
I am also having this error pop up every time i boot up:

you might need to run the AiSuite cleaner from the RoG Forums. Example .... dunno your version tho

I managed to install AISuite3 by running the cleaner (as admin!) and then installing from Asus website.

I still have that weird error message when i start up? hmm...

Installed from CD worked fine
Then installed update from web site
