Hello. I have a Netgear N600 router (WNDR3400v3). The router is connected to the modem with an ethernet cable. My laptop is connected to the router with an ethernet cable. I've "heard" the ports on the back of the router are 100 Mbps, so my laptop internet speeds can only be up to 100 Mbps. Do you know if it's a fact that with my laptop wired to this router my internet speeds can only be up to 100 Mbps? Thanks.
Pertaining to wifi, Netgear says this dual band router wifi speed is up to 300+300 Mbps. I get less than 100 Mbps on wifi. Up to 300 + 300 is a little misleading, but, less than 100 is in the range of up to 300 + 300.
