I just built my first computer yesterday, and went to install SpeedFan to monitor the temperature of my i5-4670k processor. I start it up and it shows my processor at 128 degrees C. I quickly downloaded CPUID HWMonitor and then Core Temp, and those say I'm perfectly fine at ~32 degrees C. When I go into my bios, it shows my CPU temperature at 44 degrees C.
Is it safe to that assume SpeedFan is giving me an incorrect reading? I just want to be sure that I didn't incorrectly install my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or something.
EDIT: The fan on my cooler was spinning with no problem. Also, I powered down and unplugged, opened up the case and put my hand an inch away from my CPU cooler's radiator and felt a slight warmth, but nothing hot by any means. I'm really hoping this is all pointing to a faulty reading by SpeedFan >_<
