I have an Inspiron 15R. It has a 1GB ATI 5470 card.
It has a i5 450M processor.
I noticed that after a few minutes of mild gaming, the frame rate drops heavily.
I installed speedfan to find out what the problem is.
Turns out that speedfan shows my GPU fan at 0RPM.
Is this correct? I have attached an image of the same.

Clearly the GPU fan speed says 0 RPM.
Pls clarify this.
THanks in advance

Is this a laptop? I did a search on the Dell Inspiron 15R at the dell website and it points to a laptop. Assuming thats true, very few laptops have fans on the GPU so that's why it's telling you that the GPU fan speed is 0rpm. Besides that, even desktop versions of the ATI 5400 series graphics cards don't have fans.

The most likely reason that your frames rates are low is because you have ATI 5470 graphics. This is a very low end graphics card that is not intended for high resolutions and high frames rates.
