I noticed last night that SpeedFan stated my CPU is @ 128 degrees Celsius, Real Temp and Bios state a normal temp of 30-50°C. Anything to worry about? Where would SpeedFan be getting this temp from?

Thanks

hint :

128 degrees Fahrenheit = 53.3333333 degrees Celsius

your speedfan is measuring in F

if it is 128 C for real , try to touch it and you will burn your finger :)

well the bios readings are more reliable ... you can be sure by touching the cpu .. if it is 128 C you will know fast :)

If your CPU is 128C .. it will not live ... it cant take that much heat..

Sometimes, third party sensor-reading software likes to wig out. There is the potentiality that it might be getting it's temperatures from a different probe and that probe is sending faulty data as well, but if no other temp-reading programs give you this issue, you can blame Speedfan.
