Spell Queuing

I've been away for some time and unfamiliar with the /noqueue command. What
does spell queuing refer to?

Thanks.

I THINK it's casting a spell, and having one ready... When I play my fire
mage, the first thing I do is hit spell 1 and spell 2 straight away. Spell
1 starts to cast, and the message "You are already casting a spell, you will
cast this spell after your next action" (or something!) pops up. As soon as
spell one is done casting, spell two will start.

I imagine that /noqueue stops you casting a spell in advanced - useful if
you don't know what you are blasting next :)

Or, I could be waaaaay off base, in which case, you can ignore me!

That's pretty much right, it's very useful in getting spells off at your
maximum casting speed.

One thing you need to keep in mind though: if you select a target and
press two spell buttons (thus queuing up a spell) and you switch target
before the second spell actually begins casting, your second spell will
be directed at your NEW target, not the target you had when you queued
the spell.

Once you've turned it off using /noqueue, use /noqueue again to turn it
back on (a little bit confusing). I suggest you keep it on and learn to
live with it, since it allows you to cast faster. Now all we need is a
way to cancel spells without having to move (and thus break bodyguard)

Doesn't pressing the F6 key to enter "combat mode" stop a queued spell from
going off? Not sure, will have to try that later.

maybe pressing the "c"-key to sit down works fine as well?

I usually just walk forward/backward one pace - stops any spell being cast
and any in the queue :)

That will work, but I think the issue was that moving breaks bodyguard if
you're being bodyguarded. Sitting should stop the queued spell from being
cast in this case.
