Spilled soda on keyboard

I spilled soda on my keyboard and did the straw trick with water but was wondering if it would be fine to run it under my sink.
It is a wasd v2 with chery mx browns
I will also accept other suggestions as i just want to get the keys not sticky

What keyboard was it? If it was a mechnical keyboard it will be tricky. If it any old regular keyboard you can remove the screws, open it up, and take out the guts and clean and scrub it with soap and water. i do it all the time. Just for the layers on the inside that make the keyboard work just use a damp cloth to clean it.

Also i dissasembled it and on the pcb board i see streaks of maybe dr pepper

On the PCB part use a VERY light brush and use Rubbing Aclohol on it.

Yes that is what i use just make sure it is a soft brush and not a firm one. I usually use my old ones which are all worked in lol

Is it fine if i rinse it off after i used the iso alcohol?

Only with Distilled water. I would just take a can of air to it after you clean it with the iso
