You need to be familiar at least with the basics of electronics, (not knowing your stuff can be dangerous to both yourself and your device) and then you can follow a simple procedure online, like on youtube and open it up and clean it. Just look for videos about how to open your laptop like this one:

Also be careful of the sizes of the screws, keep a map or picture so you will not forget which screw goes where, and also the wiring of your system. make a picture using your phone as you go along, cause it is very easy to forget something, when you want to put everything back where it used to be.
