Spilled thermal cleaner

Hey does anyone know if it is possible to damage cpu with thermal paste cleaner i was using the arctic thermal cleaner and i think I put to much and it might have touched the green board of the cpu not under but the sides and every time I boot i get like two error beeps does anyone know a fix

To much thermal paste can affect cooling, also if it's conductive it can affect the system. Try to clean as much off the CPU/board.

thermal cleaner, no it wont harm the cpu. Ive actually used part 2 of it to clean the pads of the cpu with no harm to the cpu, still OC's just fine.

Funny you should say that when compared to how much thermal paste is applied to a GPU. It oozes everywhere around the die. You might want to fix that on your GPU and see how far the temps change.

Did you let it dry before powering the computer up?
